The City Information Office has everything you need to discover Esslingen: tourist information and advice on many topics, guided tours, city maps, maps, specialised literature, tickets for events, gift vouchers, CityCards and a large selection of Esslingen souvenirs.
Centrally located - quickly accessible
The City Information Office is very easy to find. It is located directly on the market square, only about a five-minute walk from Esslingen's train station. There is a whole series of covered car parks on the Old Town ring road. From there, too, the City Information Office can be reached quickly.

Yes, you can find them at the Esslingen train station and at the Agneshof (near the market square).

There are two parking spaces for mobile homes. They are located on the Outer Castle Grounds (Esslingen Castle).

- On foot: via the Burgsteige, Burgstaffel or through the Obere Beutau
- By car: follow the signs via Mülbergerstraße
- By public transport: take Bus No. 110 in the direction of Wäldenbronn and get off at "Burg".

The Big Tower (Dicker Turm) can only be booked for events and is therefore usually closed. The Esslingen castle grounds, on the other hand, are open to the public at all times. Here you can visit the playground with children, have a delicious meal in the castle restaurant (Burgschenke) or take short walks in beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, the High Watch Tower is not open to the public.

The carillon in the Old Town Hall Tower (Town Hall Square) takes place daily at 8:02 a.m., 12:03 p.m., 3:02 p.m., 6:02 p.m. and 7:32 p.m..

Getting in and out works most safely in Kiesstraße, at Kleiner Markt behind the New Town Hall or at Neckar Forum.

Buses can park at the "Kleiner Markt" on the Altstadtring (behind the New Town Hall, P3), at the municipal event hall, the Neckar Forum (P1) - and in the direction of Mettingen (P2).
