This 2-hour tour of Esslingen offers fantastic views from selected vantage points.
The former Free Imperial City of Esslingen is famous for its numerous monuments, churches and medieval half-timbered buildings, which huddle together in a confined space. So the best view is "from above": Selected viewpoints such as the Seilergang (Ropers’ Walk) of Esslingen Castle, the Schelztorturm (Schelztor Gate Tower) and the roof terrace of the Hotel Park Consul offer fantastic views over the historic Old Town, dreamy canals, idyllic vineyards and the Neckar Valley. With a glass of KESSLER sparkling wine in your hand you can enjoy the magnificent panorama and fall for the special charm of Esslingen. No wonder the inhabitants are so proud of their "Städtle" (little town)!
Note: The tour is not handicap-accessible. Physical fitness, surefootedness and sturdy shoes are required.
This tour can also be booked as a public tour in the German language on fixed dates.
Due to construction work, it is unfortunately not possible to visit the Dicke Turm at the moment.
