Description
The Kielmeyer House was built as the hospice winepress in 1582, and was part of the then Hospice of St. Katharine. It was also used as a warehouse.
The Hospice of St. Katharine was at that time located on what is now the market square. The Renaissance building with its half-timbering painted in Franconian red was built in 1582 and was the only building to survive the demolition of the hospice.
