The well-founded guided tour Keller, Krypta, "Catacombs" takes you to underground places in Esslingen that are normally hidden from the public. The program includes the water reservoir under the castle grounds, a historic cellar under the city, the excavations of St. Dionys and the former ossuary under the city archives.
Participation in the tour is at your own risk. Sturdy shoes, surefootedness and physical fitness are mandatory for participation. The tour is not suitable for people with cardiovascular problems and/or claustrophobia.
